To get what we want in relationships, we need to communicate smartly.
Some people need to be listened to, without feeling judged. Some people need encouragement. Some people need the occasional kick in the pants.
We are all prone to making excuses. There is always a seemingly good reason why we shouldn’t work out today or have that difficult conversation.
But this way, life passes us by. Only when we have no more time left to waste, do we realize what a blunder we have committed.

Every day is an attack on our senses.
Rude people on the subway. Your boss losing his temper. Blood and thunder on the news. Endless clickbait on social media.
You must protect your energy against this onslaught, or you’ll get swept away by it.
For many people, the gym is their religion. To get ripped like the people on the magazine covers, you need machines and barbells. Or so they think.
This is not my experience. The few times in my life that I got ripped, it was always from doing a minimalist bodyweight workout.
It was the most sustainable option. Even when life got hectic, I would be able to stick with this routine.
