Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 29, 2026

1. General Information

I, Niels Bohrmann, operate this website. This policy informs you of my policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use my service and the choices you have associated with that data.

Data Controller:

Niels Bohrmann

24b Stefan Stambolov St.

Floor 3, Apt. 23

9000 Varna

Bulgaria

2. Hosting (Framer)

My website is hosted by Framer B.V. (Rozengracht 207B, 1016 LZ Amsterdam, Netherlands). Framer may process technical data necessary to provide, maintain, and secure the website. For more information, please visit Framer’s Privacy Policy.

3. Third-Party Integrations

Kit

I use Kit, provided by Kit, Inc. (USA), to manage my email newsletter and subscriber list. When you subscribe to my newsletter, the email address you provide is transmitted to and processed by Kit on my behalf. Kit may also process technical information associated with newsletter subscription, delivery, and interaction.

Calendly

I use Calendly to provide a seamless booking experience. When you book a call, the information you provide (name, email, etc.) is processed by Calendly, LLC (USA). We have a Data Processing Addendum (DPA) in place to ensure compliance with GDPR standards. Calendly may use cookies or similar technologies when its embedded booking interface is loaded or used.

Google Sheets (Embedded Content)

I embed Google Sheets to display my habit tracking data. When you visit a page with an embedded sheet, your browser establishes a connection to Google’s servers (Google Ireland Limited or Google LLC). Google may set cookies or process your IP address.

4. Newsletter Pop-Up Dismissal Preference

When you actively close a newsletter pop-up, this website stores a first-party local storage entry named newsletter_popup_dismissed_until. This entry contains only a timestamp indicating how long the pop-up should remain hidden. It does not contain a user ID and is not used to record page views, visits, analytics, or other tracking information.

The dismissal preference prevents the pop-up from appearing for 30 days. Once this period has expired, the entry is removed the next time the pop-up controller is loaded. No local storage entry is created merely because the pop-up is displayed or because you scroll through a page.

5. Your Rights (GDPR)

Under the GDPR, you have the following rights:

  • Access: Request a copy of your personal data.

  • Rectification: Request correction of inaccurate personal data.

  • Erasure: Request deletion of your personal data where applicable.

  • Restriction: Request restriction of the processing of your personal data where applicable.

  • Objection: Object to certain processing of your personal data, including processing based on legitimate interests.

  • Data Portability: Request your personal data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format where applicable.

  • Withdrawal of Consent: Where processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time.

  • Complaint: You have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent data protection supervisory authority.

To exercise these rights, please contact me at: niels@nielsbohrmann.com

6. International Data Transfers

Some of the third-party service providers used on this website may process or transfer personal data outside the European Economic Area (EEA), including in the United States. Where required, these providers use appropriate safeguards for international data transfers, such as adequacy decisions, the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, or Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs).

7. Legal Basis and Data Retention

I process personal data only where there is a legal basis for doing so. Depending on the context, processing may be based on your consent, the performance of a contract or steps taken prior to entering into a contract, compliance with legal obligations, or my legitimate interests.

Personal data is retained only for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by applicable legal obligations. Where processing is based on consent, data may be retained until you withdraw your consent, unless there is another legal basis or legal obligation requiring further retention.
